Converged clinches Abermed Contract

Aberdeen firm Converged Communication Solutions has won a contract with global occupational-health specialist Abermed.
The internet and wide-area-network deal is worth an initial £140,000 for 12 months work at Abermed's two sites in the Aberdeen area and one in Dundee.
The value is expected to reach £300,000 over three years for all nine of Abermed's UK sites.
Andy Pearson, managing director of Converged, said: "We are delighted to win this significant project."
Ken McNeil, group information services Manager at Westhill-based Abermed said: "This is a positive investment for Abermed and we are delighted to award the contract to a firm based in Aberdeen. With our offices around the UK, and our international presence, having fast and efficient connectivity is essential and we are hoping there will also be cost savings in the future".
