On 26th November 2015, the Converged network was the subject of a strong distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack. Initial data suggests that the assault was aimed at a specific client, who has been the victim of a cyber crime. The police have been notified, and we will be assisting with the resulting investigation. As such, we can make no further comment at this time regarding the specifics of the attack, but would like to reassure those affected that we are doing all we can to restore normal service levels as soon as is possible.
At present, the majority of connections have been restored, and our Incident Response Team are working with their peers to mitigate the remaining unsolicited traffic. In addition, intermittent DNS issues are being investigated.
We will continue to provide updates as events warrant.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to recover from this illegal act. With our sincerest apologies for any and all inconvenience.
